American General Investors LLC, which was organized in 1965, specializes in the development, construction, and management of commercial and residential real estate. We are a family owned and operated business. Some of our principals are third generation family members involved in the real estate industry.

American General Investors acquires real estate, guides it through the local and state land use agencies to increase it's potential to the maximum, constructs a building or buildings, and finally, manages the development for an extended period of time. We currently manage a substantial amount of commercial and residential real estate in the Prospect, Connecticut area and the Waterbury, Connecticut area.
We have developed, constructed, and managed a variety of complexes from the simplicity of a single family home to residential condominiums, retail plazas, office buildings, and specialty buildings such as a 150 bed skilled nursing facility and a 9,000 square foot fitness center.
